What do chickens have to do with my mom and Christmas?
Each year my mom and dad found creative ways to use their time and talents to give back to others.
Losing my mom in May and watching the holiday season approaching has been very tough. My mom loved this time of year and she made it magical.
We traded Christmas cookie ideas all year. She adored the Christmas pajamas that matched the rest of the family that I got her the last few years...(I think the dinosaur ones were her favorite.)
But mostly for the last two years, my mom fought cancer and dreamed of the day when she would have her own land, with chickens, geese, ducks, and a donkey for her donkey-obsessed son-in-law. She lost her battle in May and it's hard to remember the dreams that didn't get to be fulfilled.
When some people started asking for images of Christmas chickens, I started working on creating things that others could use on their products. I thought of my mom the whole time.
More Christmas animals started coming and before you knew it I had a Christmasy barnyard. My mom would have loved it.
And then it hit me.
I could be creative and offer this pack on a "pay what you'd like" offer and donate the proceeds to others who are having a hard time...just the way my parents tried to do each year.
All of the profit from the sale of this pack of images will be donated this year in honor of my mommy.

Still Got Questions?

What can I do with these?
How is this delivered? What kind of images
Where will the money be donated?
Will you be selling other images?
Will you teach how to use these?

Can I just say thanks.
Whether you donated or not.
Just the fact that you read this or shared this...or spared a thought for my mom means the world.
I know, like her, you find small and giant ways to serve those around you. So thank you for making the world a better place, and inspiring me to try to do better at that, too.
Merry Christmas!
Love,
Sarah
